He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville and is a 1980 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed his family practice internship at University of Lousiville Hospital in 1981, and his emergency medicine residency at Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk in 1983. |
